COSTA RICA: EDUCATION PROGRAM

Description:

The NGO with which I work in Costa Rica is seeking volunteers who are willing to teach English in national parks or to teach environmental awareness.
They are searching volunteers to give English lessons to the workers of the parks as well as in the schools of the villages around these parks.


What means to work in these programs:

Working in education means to be involved in projects in formal and non -formal education, for example in schools or orphanages and organizations working with children, youth, and adults. Depending on the specific educational needs of the destination will be carried out various activities in order to conform to existing social demands and thus to contribute to the future development of the social groups involved.

Volunteer profile:

Be older than 20. Have a basic knowledge of Spanish and previous experience.
