Description:
If you are interested in volunteering as a doctor/nurse in Peru, this program may be of interest. Students or professional medical/nursing are needed to make visits to villages in rural Peru, which are far from urban centers to receive visits from health workers continuously. Health care that can be offered is basic. You can also give awareness talks and activities that promote personal hygiene.What means to work in these programs:
Working in health means to collaborate in projects destined to actively participate in the improvement of health conditions and health in different sides of the world where is still considered a privilege, when is a universal right. Participate in specific campaigns means to teach capacities to prevent the infectious diseases and organization of prevention workshops on health education.
