ECUADOR: EDUCATIONAL AND CHILDHOOD PROGRAM WITH INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES

Description:
In Ecuador I collaborate with an indigenous community on the north of the country (Andes region) who is open to receive volunteers who are interested in to spend and live for a time with them and they are willing to collaborate on the school (teaching English and Mathematics, being a support for the teacher,…) or in the center for the small kids (playing with them, taking care of them, helping in the maintenance of the center, etc.).
What means to work in these programs:
Working in education means to be involved in projects in formal and non -formal education, for example in schools or orphanages and organizations working with children, youth, and adults. Depending on the specific educational needs of the destination will be carried out various activities in order to conform to existing social demands and thus to contribute to the future development of the social groups involved.
Volunteer profile:
Be older than 18 years and good Spanish knowledge.
