NEPAL: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Description:

One of the organizations with which I collaborate in Nepal conducts community development projects focused on the construction and / or rehabilitation of buildings of the NGO or community ( such as orphanages , schools , health centers) in several areas country ( Kathmandu , Pokhara and Chitwan) . It is a very physical job that requires a lot of motivation and spirit of teamwork.

What means to work in these programs:

Working in community development means to be directly involved in the life of a community, working on improving its infrastructure, the creation and development of new sources of income, in promoting social and cultural life.
It is, in short, to participate in the daily life of a community different from ours doing our work and motivation in exchange for the chance to experience new and intense experiences.
